How the Alliance Works

Two Years of Learning,
Built Around You

The Numeracy Alliance combines four interconnected learning structures to support every educator in the classroom, online, and beyond.

Learning Together

In-person PL events held at regional sites across Kentucky twice a year, plus a culminating summer graduation at the close of the two-year program. Virtual Patterns Live sessions fill the gaps...five, 1-hour virtual sessions each year, offered every other month.

Learning Individually

About 3 hours of asynchronous learning each month, delivered through a Carnegie Learning Patterns course tailored to your grade band... intermediate (3–5) or middle grades (6-8 & Algebra I).

Communities of Practice

Two 1-hour virtual CoP sessions each year... one in the fall, one in the spring... to connect with colleagues, share what's working, and build collective momentum.

Customized Coaching

One-on-one coaching with EPIC math coaches throughout both years, focused on bringing your learning directly into classroom practice.
